Birthday luncheon for Sally Trainin: on my actual birthday! I had such a lovely time with the ladies at the lunch. Mrs. Harriet Epstein amongst others. Sally’s granddaughter made her birthday cake in the shape of a suitcase, complete with luggage tag and all! (the tag was so kind as to mention the number of years Sally has been on this earth: a ripe 80!) I was deeply honored to have been included at such a special event.
